Christmas Morning!

Jared and The LAKERS!! All he wanted for Christmas was a Laker's jacket and Laker's fleece blanket! Here he is with both. Jared gave me a big picture of the Salt Lake Temple I have wanted since last year. It is rustic with a black chunky frame. I love it!! Thanks Babe!!
She loved the simplest things!! What a sweet little girl.

Irelynd and her American Girl Doll from Santa!

Kyn's stuff from Santa. She didn't even notice her playhouse, so Jared and I took it downstairs and decided to give it to her for her birthday in March. She'll never miss it!!

Irelynd posing by her motor scooter and other surprises from Santa!

Christmas Morning!!

Wow look at Kyn's scary hair!! This is her little automatic police scooter she got from santa. She loves it, as you can see!!

I made both my girls, Jared and myself new fleece blankets for Christmas. It was so fun to watch all of their reactions as they opened them. We love to cuddle with our own blankets and take naps on Sunday. Now we won't fight over blankets anymore.

Irelynd saw me making daddy's blanket and knew to keep it a secret. One day she said, "I want one!" I told her maybe I would make one for her Birthday. Boy was she happy to get one on Christmas!!

Christmas Eve at Grandma Julie's!!

We had another awesome meal and then played our annual game of Bingo!! I love that every year. It was so much fun to see everyone and their cute kids. I wish I would have gotten a group picture.
Little Kynlee got this Fur real puppy from cousin Kylee. Once she figured out he was not real she hauled him around all night long. She loved it, even though her face in this picture doesn't say so.

Irelynd has wanted heelies for a long time. She was so excited when she opened this package from grandma Julie. She didn't waste any time, she immediately started practicing on the kitchen floor. Grandma had the kids act out the manger scene with hand puppets. It was so darn cute!! Brad and Becky and all of their kids and families were there except for Jay and Sophie. Todd and Sheryl and their family were at another party. We sure missed them! Thanks Grandma for a great Christmas Eve. It was so much fun!!

Gr. and Gr. Lish's Christmas Party!!

After we had an awesome dinner, santa showed up! Look at all those cute faces. This is what Christmas is about!

This is as close as Kyn would get to Santa and Mrs. Claus, and of course only if Irelynd was there to and she would get a candy cane.

Little Walker loved him!!
This is Trav and Katie Lish's beautiful little girl Isabelle. She has the sweetest face.

Here's Ed and Kalisa's oldest boy Dyson. He loved Santa too. Look at the little piggies, those are Kyn's. Once in a while she would sneak up close when someone else was on Santa's lap.

Santa again!! She's really sucking up!! She talked to him all night long and had to help him pass out candy canes. Irelynd told me Christmas day that she got extra presents because she helped santa at the party. I think she really thinks that.

Look how cute all the kids look! Thanks to Tiffany and Justin Roche the kids acted out the manger scene. It was so cute to watch. Irelynd was the angel.

Dance Illusion Christmas Performance!!

Taylor and Irelynd posing for the camera!
Here's Irelynd performing at the christmas performance for her dance group. She first danced to "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" and then she did a cheer routine with her cheer class. It was so cute! They did a great job!! This little girl next to Irelynd is Meleece Rolle (Troy and Lindsay Rolle's daughter). She was a doll! She smiled the whole time. It was so fun to watch them dance.

Willard Christmas Lights 2008!

Grandma Julie took us to the Willard Christmas Lights. I was so much fun for all of us! The kids loved hanging out the windows and looking at the different Christmas lights while listening to Christmas music. They even had real reindeer for the kids to see and santa to talk to. It was freezing cold, but we still managed to go and get ice cream afterwards. Thanks Grandma Julie, that was so much fun!! I don't know where Landen, Jen, and Walker were for all of the pictures, but they were there with us to.

Willard Christmas Lights!

Kindergarten Christmas Program!!

Here's Irelynd and her teacher Mrs. Petersen. It was so much fun watching all of the Kindergarten classes sing Christmas songs. It made me miss elementary school and singing time so much!! My favorite song they sang was, "Must Be Santa!" I loved that song as a little girl. They also sang a song in spanish and other languages once they got back to their class room. Irelynd loves school. Now I can see why.

New Tires!!

So we finally got 4 new tires on our Murano. My mom's brother and family owns Archibald and Son's over in Tremonton, so that's where we went to get our new tires put on. My cousin Jeff was so great with Irelynd. He said, "Want to come and help me?" As you can imagine Irelynd took that as follow him around the entire time. These are a few pictures of her "helping" she thought it was the coolest thing. She kept telling me how she got to push the button on this cool tool. Thanks Jeff you're the greatest, you made her day!!

Putting up Christmas Lights!!

So here's Jared sacrificing his life to please his wife and children. Jared really doesn't like hanging lights every year because I have to have them just right as you can imagine. I don't like the look of sloppy lights. If it were up to him we wouldn't have any at all. He even, after some convincing, put them on the highest peaks of our house. I have to say thank you to him for a perfect job WELL DONE. They look so good, and Irelynd loves it. Sorry honey for arguing with you over this every year, but I hope it is all worth it now that you can see the final project. I would show you all the final project, but I'm afraid some freaky person will find our house by the picture. Sorry!!

The Magic of Santa Clause!

We went to my Cornerstone Real Estate Christmas party and it was so much fun for the kids. Santa came and you can imagine the kids loved it. However, this is as close as Kyn would get to that white beard. She was so concerned. Irelynd on the other hand talked to Santa and his elf all night long. Her and Brooke Haguewood were so enthralled by santa and watched out the window as he drove away.

Santa's cute elf pulled out a long list of names to tell the kids if they were on the naughty or nice list. Irelynd was somehow on the nice list, but was warned that Santa has to check it twice before coming on Christmas Eve. That's all she can talk about now. I've got to be good so when santa checks his list twice I will still be on it. It was so cute to watch. I miss being a kid. I loved Christmas sooo much!!

Lowe's Saturday Activities!!

Thanks to our fun neighbors the Neal's we found out about the free building activities Lowe's does every other saturday for kids. We went this last saturday and made wooden Ginger Bread houses. It was so much fun!! Even kyn and I had a great time putting one together. Kyn loved holding onto the hammer and pounding in the nails. Here's the finished products.

Texie showing Irelynd the ropes. Kyn putting the stickers in place, only to tear them off 2 minutes after we were finished.

Some of the kids at the activity.
