So we decided to take a vacation to Orlando, Florida just with Irelynd to Disney World. We left Kynlee at home with my mom and Jared's mom and dad for almost a week. I must say it was nice to not have the responsibility of two children for a few days. But it didn't take long before all Jared, Irelynd, and I could talk about was how much we missed Kynlee. I talked to her one night on the phone and Jared's mom said she was kissing the phone. Now that broke my heart and I was ready to come home. We decided not to take her because it was really hot and muggy and we knew she would be miserable, whinny and she probably wouldn't remember it anyway. It was a lot of fun, and I'm sure Irelynd would agree,it was nice to just focus on Irelynd for a few days.
The day we got there it was raining of course and very muggy! We took a bus to our hotel, threw our luggage on the beds and went to Sea World. Wow!! I loved this. I highly suggest if you haven't taken your kids or been there yourselves you need to go. Especially if you are an animal lover. I was so shocked to see the relationship between the killer whales and the trainers. I was sitting in the stadium watching their show called "Believe" and it was like dejavou?? (I don't know how to spell that word) It took me back to when I went to the California Sea World in middle school on a Va-Dels dance trip. I remembered how I felt then and how I had made a promise to myself that someday I was going to be one of those trainers and swim with the whales or dolphins. Well, in the mix of everything I must have somehow forgotten about that goal. But I loved every moment that I sat in those stadiums and watched those amazing animals!! Irelynd and Jared loved it too, I think- but probably not as much as me. Irelynd says she loved watching the pirate show which was a show with huge sea lions and they made fun of all of the other shows in Sea World. Jared says he liked touching the sting rays and watching the sharks. We didn't have time to feed the dolphins, but next time we will be sure to do that first.
The second day we visited Down Town Disney and then Typhoon Lagoon. We walked around down town disney and saw a bunch of Lego characters and princess's. I don't know what I did to my little girl, but she does not want anything to do with Princess's. She's so funny, we told her she could pick out two things to take home and she chose Hannah Montana sunglasses and a Mickey Mouse pen. My favorite thing there was the huge squirrel and miniature pelicans or something that came right up to us to feed them. It was so fun! Typhoon Lagoon is a huge water park inside Disney World. It was again a lot of fun. Jared hated the fact that his daughter wasn't brave enough to go down the big slides on her own, so he didn't get to have as much fun as he would have liked. I had to keep reminding him that she is only 5 years old and a girl at that. He had to keep reminding her of all of the kids back home her age who would definately dare go down all the slides by themselves, but this tactic didn't work. So we spent most of our time on the family raft ride, in the lazy river, in the kid area, and in the huge wave pool! That was me and Jared's favorite! Those waves were huge, it was like being in the ocean, but with no sharks of course. (I'm terrified of sharks thanks to the TV) About 3:00 it started down pouring and they shut all the slides down. We all stood under the nearest shelter for about an hour and then waited for our taxi back to the hotel.
The next two days Jared and Irelynd went to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. I know this is long, but to make a long story short they both said they had a ton of fun at both of these places. I wish I wouldn't have missed out on Animal Kingdom. (I must have a thing for animals.) The pictures they took in their safari ride were amazing. Jared said it was like riding in a jeep in the jungle with all kinds of wild animals all around.
Irelynd hated the flight home because she kept saying her ears hurt. So at 11:30 at night she was bawling on the airplane while everyone else was trying to sleep. She was exhausted and very whiny I'm sure because of that to. She said, "I hate this air plane! I'm never flying again, next time we are driving!" Well I guess we won't be going back to Florida anytime soon. So after all of this fun, we finally got home to see Kynlee and then that same day Irelynd somehow managed to get bored and told Jared and I that we are sooo boring and we never do anything with her! Wow kids are unreal!! Anyway that was our trip. I will post a slide show of all of the pictures tomorrow.

Today Irelynd said the funniest thing. She calls adults humans. I keep saying no they are adults, but she doesn't get it. So the first time today we were sitting in sacrament meeting during fast and testimony meeting and our neighbor Lexie Casey got up to bear her testimony. Irelynd looked at me and said, " it's kids day today mom and not humans?" I laughed so hard. Then when we got home from church she saw the guys coming around for fast offerings out her bedroom window. She comes running out screaming, "The humans are coming to get our stuff after church!" I again laughed my head off! It doesn't matter how many times I try to tell her they're called adults, she still manages to call them "humans!"

All About Kynlee
This is Kynlee's 1 year old picture. She's a blonde haired blue eyed baby! Where did she come from? We know, we get this question all of the time. She looks a lot like uncle Jason. Anyway, Kynlee is so much fun. She is so cuddly. She loves her mommy and always has to be in my sight or touching me. She loves to be outside and get dirty in the mud and dirt. Kynlee's favorite things are dogs (wu wu), balloons, balls, and the trampoline. She could jump for hours! She has also just started packing a doll around and feeding it and patting its back. Wow they sure learn quick! When she was younger she was the most content little baby, but that has definately changed. She has become a very whiny 1 year old. I think she has figured out how to get what she wants. She stands at the back door and says "0uff!" meaning out, until we take her outside. I have just started to be able to put her hair in pig tails. It is so cute, but it makes her look too old. They grow up way too fast! Kynlee loves to follow Irelynd around and tries to do everything she does. It's so funny to watch her waddle back and forth. She is a little sweetheart and we love having her as part of our family!
All About Irelynd
I haven't yet found the time to get Irelynd's 5 year old picture taken, so here is the newest one of her. Irelynd just turned 5 on May 5th. She is full of it! She starts kindergarten this fall and is so excited! I can't believe we have a 5 year old. Where does time go? She loves her little sister a little too much and most of the time I find myself reminding her that I am the mom not her. But Kynlee loves to be packed around, so I try not to get mad. Irelynd finished her first year of dance in June. She sure knows how to shake it! It was so much fun watching her perform on stage. She loves the spotlight, but only if someone is standing by her side, otherwise she acts like she's too shy. It brought back so many memories, I sure wish it was still me. I hope she enjoys dance like I did. She also played her first year of soccer. She actually did pretty well. I was really worried she was going to bawl and scream everytime someone else got the ball or kicked her, but she was pretty tough. We were proud of her. Despite bribing her that she could get a webkins if she made a goaly, she didn't try too hard and eventually gave up and said, " I can't do it!" Just like every other 5 year old, she loves to play outside from sun up to sun down. Good thing she's got her daddy's skin, because she lives in the sun and is brown as a bear. It's not fair!
